NewsletterSummer Term - Tuesday 22nd April

~ April 2025 ~

We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Easter break with your families. This term promises to be an exciting one, filled with engaging learning opportunities and activities, as well as a school trip for all year groups.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Please click here for a downloadable copy of the diary dates.

Please look out for a post on Tapestry, at the end of this week, with information on how we will report on your child's learning and attainment for this year.

We are currently reviewing our homework offer and would like to ensure we take your opinions into account. Please  follow this link to a short homework survey: RMI Homework Survey - March 2025

If you have children in more that one year group, please complete the survey for each child.

The survey date has been extended slightly, to allow more parents to complete it, and will now close on Friday 25th April 2025 at 5pm.

Thank you

The school dinner menu has been updated for the summer term. You can download a copy here or find it on our website under 'For Parents > School Dinners'.

The summer term is always our busiest term for trips and visits. Here is a reminder of the upcoming trips for each year group:

Thursday 15th May - Year 1 trip to Wollaton Hall.

Tuesday 17th June - Reception trip to White Post Farm.

Friday 18th July - Year 2 Camp (1 night residential).

Please return all relevant forms, along with payment to cover the cost of the trip and transportation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this, please speak to a member of staff in confidence.

Due to limited storage space for coats and bags, we kindly ask that children do not bring large bags to school.

If your child needs to bring additional items, such as a change of clothes, please can we ask that you use a small bag to help keep our spaces safe and organised.

Thank you for your understanding.

If anyone has any large pebbles (big enough for painting), we would love to collect them to use as part of a project to help develop some of our outdoor spaces.

In preparation for our summer fair, we would also like to start collecting clean jars (e.g. empty jam jars / pasta sauce jars).

If you are able to help with either of these, please send them in with the children or directly to the office.

Thank you
