Our summer fair will take place on Wednesday 23 July, from 3.30pm-5pm. All our families (including children starting in Reception in September) are invited to bring a blanket and some food so you can have a picnic on the school grounds.
There will be lots of stalls and things to buy, so please bring plenty of change!
The weather has been a little sporadic so far and so we will keep you informed of any changes to our plans nearer the time. Fingers crossed for sunshine!
Below, is a list of raffle prizes, as part of our summer fair plans. The raffle tickets cost £1 for a strip of 5 and can be purchased from the school office. In addition, they will be on sale each morning on the playground and at the beginning of the fair.
The draw will take place towards the end of the summer fair. We will keep a record of any winners so, if you are not there to collect a prize at the time, you will be able to collect them from the school office on the last Thursday or Friday of school.
We would like to say a huge thank you to The Friends of Robert Miles group for sourcing the prizes and for all the generous donations from local businesses. Thank you also for all the donations for the tombola - there are some great prizes to be won!
We were very pleased to receive a visit from Perform on Wednesday 9th July. The children had a wonderful time exploring the theme of Jungle Rumble and using drama, dance and singing to help develop their confidence, concentration and social skills.
To complement the workshop, there is a free educational app for iPhones and iPads based around the theme of Jungle Rumble. It contains fun games, creative tasks and videos of the themed songs and dances. Click here to download it free or here to find out more about the Jungle Rumble theme.

We had a fantastic Sports Day this year, filled with energy, laughter and incredible displays of teamwork! Children from all year groups took part in a variety of fun activities, cheering each other on and showing brilliant sportsmanship throughout.
Every child had the chance to shine and take part and it was wonderful to see everyone supporting and encouraging each another.
Thank you to all our staff and families for making the day such a success – we’re already looking forward to next year!
