Proposed Change to Admissions Criteria for Robert Miles Infant School

Change to Admissions

Dear Parents/Carers/Wider Stakeholders

Proposed Change to Admissions Criteria for Robert Miles Infant School

Every year schools and academies are required to review their admission arrangements. The aim is to ensure that the arrangements continue to be appropriate, and that they comply with all the relevant requirements.

It has been agreed that Robert Miles Infant School which is part of the NOVA Education Trust would consult on the existing admission arrangements.

The proposed changes surround wording contained within the policy surrounding the in-year admissions process. The proposed changes match the wording found in the Admissions code. Please note that it is not proposed to change the oversubscription criteria.

The consultation will run from 2 October 2023 until 17 November 2023. Parents and Carers are particularly welcome to comment on the proposed change to the admission arrangements for 2025/26. Please send your comments only relating to the changes in the section of the admission criteria detailed above to office@rmischool.co.uk. Responses will be considered with the final published admissions arrangements published by the 28th February.

Yours sincerely

Head Teacher
